Mrs. Greenwell graduated from North Shelby in 1989. She attended Central Methodist University, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in English. Mrs. Greenwell taught English and French at New Bloomfield High School for three years. Then she began teaching at North Shelby in 1996 and later obtained her Master (M.A.) degree in K-12 Educational Leadership from Northwest Missouri University in 2001. This is Mrs. Greenwell's second year as the high school principal and her twentieth year in the district.
